This concept prototype was not only a first for Brookshire Grocery Company, but the first opportunity for East Texans to have a local food experience that places greater emphasis on variety, organic and natural products, quality fresh products and freshly prepared convenience foods. Culminating with achieving LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environment Design) certification, this project may have left a smaller footprint on our environment, but it has managed a giant step for attractive, modern efficiency.
