Situated on 27 acres in the Spring Hill school district of Longview, the primary school campus was built to accommodate Spring Hill's increasing need for space.  The overall goal in the design and construction was to produce a functional yet economical facility to satisfy the ever-increasing needs of Spring Hill ISD.

The primary school building encompasses approximately 77,000 square feet of space, including a full size 11,250 square foot gymnasium with maple hardwood floors, classrooms, cafeteria with kitchen, and administrative offices.  The foundation system was reinforced concrete slab on drilled piers and grade beams.  The building is linear in design to maximize space for functional use.  The exterior walls are CMU block masonry with brick veneer, and the roof covering is architectural standing seam for durability and weather tightness.  Uniformity throughout the interior was maintained by utilizing CMU block walls, both painted and glazed, providing a clean yet attractive and durable finish.

"RLM's project team was always flexible in meeting our changing requirements during construction.  They always seemed to make decisions in our best interest and kept the budget in line.  They saved us a significant amount of money.  We couldn't have asked for a better construction program, and I would recommend RLM General Contractors for future projects." - Mike Crossland, Superintendent of Schools, Spring Hill ISD.
