Situated on the site of the old Downtowner Hotel in the heart of Longview, Heritage Plaza was dedicated to the City of Longview on July 20, 2000. "The mission of the park is to enhance the economic development of the downtown area", stated Longview Partnership Chairman Bill Simms at the dedication ceremonies. "Our highest hopes for Longview's future are in this salute to its past."
RLM General Contractors was a benefactor of the project by donating the entire construction management fee to the Foundation. RLM worked with the many volunteers and contributors to provide the citizens of Longview with a place to relax or enjoy an evening of entertainment or stroll through the history of our community.
"This was one way RLM could make a difference and say 'thank you' to the community in which we live."

Metzler, President
