RLM's Forest Park Project Wins Aclaim
RLM General Contractors has garnered the Merit Award at the TEXO 2011 Distinguished Projects Award for construction of Longview ISD’s New Forest Park Middle School. The event was held May 17 in Dallas. In attendance to accept the award for RLM were Casey Beddingfield, president; Jackie Campbell, general manager; and Brad Parry, project manager for the Forest Park project. TEXO, the presenting organization, is the association representing commercial contractors in North and East Texas. The award recognizes industry professionals for exceptional building and professional achievement, officials said. Criteria by which projects are judged include construction techniques, special obstacles presented and resolved during construction, personnel management, scheduling, quality of the project and the safety program implemented during construction, according to Beddingfield. “I am especially proud of the entire RLM-Forest Park project staff,” Beddingfield said. “This project went up against some very impressive projects, all of which were constructed by very large companies with state, national and international presence. The award is a testament to the kind of experience and professional services available right here in East Texas.” RLM recently completed a new athletic facility for Sabine ISD and the Brookshire Grocery Co. flagship store, Fresh, in Tyler. Current RLM projects include LISD’s New Foster Middle School, a new athletic facility for Harleton ISD, a high school addition for Beckville ISD, additions and renovations to the Gilmer Road branch of Spring Hill State Bank, and the Mobberly Baptist Church Educational Building addition, known as “The Bridge. |
